I’ve had a private therapy practice in downtown Lancaster for 12 years and live within walking distance of my office. I arrived in Lancaster with my young family 25 years ago as I finished my doctorate. I came to begin a new phase of my career...
how i help
I don’t fix people. When a person feels broken, it usually means they’re broken open which is the crisis that stimulates growth. A person who feels like they have a broken compass is not lost–just stuck. Therapy is about exploring what’s blocking you and taking the initial steps to break free...
who i help
I help people who are experiencing painful emotions–anxiety, depression, anger, shame–whatever the cause. Because emotions can be the signal of a source of problems, by working with the emotions most of the problems that clients present to me can be resolved. This is how I have come to work with such a variety of client issues. People I help include:
